Joint Venture List Building Giveaway Spotlight
INTRODUCTION
Joint venture giveaway events have become a permanent feature of list building and lead generation online.
There’s been over 200 contributors and over 500 members in each of the last 5 giveaways I’ve joined.
Each event is competitive and exciting at the same time. The more that contributors promote the event the better the results and the more exciting it becomes. These events are the best way to test your stuff. If you do well in a giveaway then you’ll do well elsewhere online.
Giveaway events should be treated much like any other marketing campaign, i.e., article marketing, blog marketing, video marketing, etc.
It’s something that once you start, there’s no turning back. You simply keep on joining events and improving until you get the results you’re after. Once you’ve prepared everything necessary for an event you’re in a position to easily duplicate the process over and over again.
Article marketers write and submit articles to article directories on a continual basis and giveaway event contributors join every giveaway event they can possibly manage.
The only difference between each giveaway that you join may possibly be in your choice of gifts. If one gift doesn’t get any response you can try another gift next time or you can even delete one gift during the event and replace it with another.
Most giveaway events allow their contributors to show up to three gift listings which further extends your ability to test your market.
I don’t want to give the impression that all of this is easy or done quickly. It takes time to prepare your gifts and offers. When you’re ready to join a giveaway you’ll have completed a long list of tasks.
If you have your own website and you’ve learned to upload web pages and digital products and maintain and update your website then your as ready as ever to begin preparing your gifts and offers as an event contributor.
If you don’t have your own website but you’d still like to become a contributor and build a list for email marketing purposes then I highly recommend Jeff Dedrick’s Instant Bonus Page Creator. Jeff’s service provides a web based template for creating your own opt-in page and download page. You can either press a button and activate your new pages on a site hosted by Jeff or you can copy the new html index files and upload them to your own website. There’s a free version and an upgrade version of the program at - http://instantbonuspagecreator.com
It’s extremely important to remember that building a list is useless if you’re not prepared to nurture your list. It may seem obvious at first but it needs to be said for the sake of others just starting out.
If you take the time to become an active event promoter and contributor make sure that you also prepare a series of follow up emails for your new subscribers.
Your new list is your real house of business and a giveaway event is a clear road to your front door. There must be something more than one gift on the other side of the door. When someone opens it we need to have a real business on the other side. If you simply add a couple extra gifts on the gift download page you’ll make a lasting impression on your new subscribers.
We only need to lay a good foundation to make an impression that get’s good results. My next four articles will cover the four cornerstones of JV list building giveaways. Let’s build a strong business foundation by learning the art of the giveaway together!

Hi Steve
I’m being admitted to hospital again tomorrow, our blogs’ 1st birthday. I should (hopefully) only be gone for 2 weeks.
I just wanted to stop by today and wish your blog a very happy 1st birthday for tomorrow, and to wish you all the very best for the year ahead.
May you sail the sea of ambition and land on the shores of success.
Respect and Regards,
Barry
Thanks Barry, I appreciate your wishes and congratulations on year one!
I hope that your hospital stay isn’t too unpleasant.
All The Best Wishes, Steve D.

Hi Steve
I just took part in my first two giveaway events…what an eye opener, I loved the competition side of things.
One event only lasted 7 days, but by having three quality giveaway products I managed to encourage nearly 100 people to subscribe to my lists.
I have included giveaways in my marketing plans for at least the foreseeable future.
I’m still learning the ways to make them more profitable…and that’s good fun in itself.
Thanks for the info
Cheers
Steve
Hello Steve, I’m glad to hear the good news from you. I’m having fun to and learning something with each giveaway event. Every new subscriber makes all the effort worthwhile. I can’t say enough about the value of JV list building giveaways but I’m going to try over the next few weeks anyway.
Be Well, Steve D.

Fantastic, thanks for sharing this info. Looks great on my iPhone, but on the Blackberry Pearl’s browser your site comes out a little funky.
Hi Christian, thank you for letting me know what’s happening in the mobile zone. I’ll be looking into mobile browser compatibility soon.

This is some great information regarding article directories. The more I know about them, the more I can greatly benefit from them and bring my article marketing to the next level. For instances, I found this one article directory named http://a.mooladays.com and it was a PR 3. It is like we learn something almost every single day. The more article directories I discover, the more I can greatly benefit from them.
Hi there, thank you for the article directory link. I’ll check it out.

Any tutorials out there how to become expert in List Building ?’.,
Hi Brianna Lee, that’s an excellent question! The first name that comes to mind when I think of expert list building is Tellman Knudson. He has a site called List Building Crusade. There are other experts with great programs and I’ll look into those for future reference.
I do have a free report for you from another successful internet marketer, Jason Parker.
Right-Click and Save As Here To Download your free list building report.
Enjoy, Steve D.
