Microbloggery Is A Twitter Brew

Did Twitter take over the internet or is it merely a prevailing trend?  Is it
the latest fancy passing or passing fancy?   I do jest.  Hold on one moment while I check Twitter’s Alexa ranking…

Twitter’s daily reach is up and down, but it’s mostly up.
Over 63% of Twitter’s participants come from these 5 countries:

Twitter gets a little over 6% of it’s traffic from search engines.

The number of spin-off sites and programs designed to facilitate all manner of twitter needs has risen sharply since it’s popularity has grown.  I’ve added a sampling below of  my favorite twitter related sites and programs.

Is twitter.com a success?  It registers significantly in over 20 countries around the world and it has a total of  5,737,867 registered users.  That’s not counting all the people who access twitter by simply subscribing to twitter members RSS feeds or visiting the the twitter members pages via any search engine.
