Step Right Up
Come On Down
Today’s online marketing scene may be compared to an internet automotive manufacturing and sales plaza with thousands of new and used cars and car parts covering an expanse of several acres. Where do you start? The choices are mind numbing! Yet we all start in basically the same place. That is to say, we all got started by reading, registering or buying the first offer that really got our attention and as it turns out, our attention is of more value than we may have thought. Good site designers and copy-writers know how to attract and hold our attention. If our interest is held long enough to create a favorable impression or desire, We buy.
If you can gain and maintain the interest of your select audience you’re going to succeed. That’s the battle. That’s marketing.
Now as we continue to scroll along the internet automotive manufacturing and sales plaza we find that some cars appear complete. Some are in parts or in modules or in various stages. Some look complete but are empty inside or have no motor or transmission or tires. Some are identical, some aren’t. On and on it goes. The important thing to remember is that all of the above categories are niches in the domain of product inventors, developers and internet marketers.
Many entrepreneurs online today are like mad scientists creating new life out of sheer imagination. The backbone of their creations is an engine of research and development. New ideas are mixed with old ideas, old products become new products. Software, audio, and video are woven into these creations to keep them competitive and original. The pre-windows marketplace isn’t entirely different from today’s internet marketplace except that now it’s much easier for those with a will to find a way.
Product creation is on the cutting edge now more than ever. We don’t readily see these product invention studios that operate behind the scenes, composing, designing, tweaking, testing, and developing new products. We do see the sales pages and that’s where the rubber meets the road. Is it hot or is it not?
