Why Blog?
When I first decided to publish a blog it was because I was following the recommendations of well established entrepreneurs. Today my reason is in providing a source of fresh, consistent content and support to any visitors and subscribers interested in becoming successful online.
Blogs are multifarious entities covering such a wide variety of interests and information that it “bloggles” the mind. Yet, compared to everything else online, a blog is one of the best ways to meet new friends and associates, and develop new skills, new income and valuable experience at the same time. That’s why I have one. It’s a start.
Everyday that I progress is the day of my success.
If I had said that to my son when he was six years old he might have asked me in his own innocent way, “Dad, why do you want success?” “My fine young son”, I would say; “Life has bestowed on me more than I can ever repay and I want to give back to life all that I’ve been given. I want to succeed son, for your sake, for our sakes and for goodness sakes.” I have a feeling he would’ve understood me then or today.
Words and Deeds
The arc of change over time can produce different responses to similar questions, and different answers on various levels of perception. Even as we’re growing and changing we have an even greater need for clarity and consistency in our pursuits.
In my life, misguided actions have drained my strength and my bank account. Sure, I learned something. No guidance or misguidance are the same and both are equally harmful. Once we have the answer to “why” we’re doing something, we’re able to focus and to form an opinion and a plan of action that makes sense.
My actions are the results of my motivations and my intentions, and my intentions are directly related to my thoughts. Thinking well is living well.
James Allen put it another way, “… your thoughts determine your words, your words determine your actions, and your actions determine your life.”
Our minds are all that we have. Benificent friend or evil foe your mind is. Yodo wasn’t loco. “A true warrior knows the difference between words and deeds.” (Beowolf)
